Using windrose command

Post by kjmohr »

Hi,

I am trying to plot windrose diagram plots at certain levels. I would like to look at wind profiles over several years and then plot the windrose diagrams.

I have tried using the windrose command using a GDAS1 wind file I have, however when I try to run it, it states it is unable to find the file? Is there an example of the windrose command somewhere that I could use to help test and set up the windrose executable?

Thank you!

Please see https://www.ready.noaa.gov/hysplitusers ... m#windrose for the command-line options for the WINDROSE program. WINDROSE takes a meteorological data file using two arguments, namely, -d and -f for directory and filename, respectively.
