I did simulations using GFS data to compare depositions with ocean surface transport being switched on and off (see the attached, left is off, right is on). The 2- to 3-order differences seemed quite significant. Could you provide some insight into this?

The F6.2 specifier to print the percentage may lead to the merging of two columns when it's 100%, changing to F7.2 around line 106 in vmsread.f can fix the problem.

I'm using api2arl_v6 and it doesn't seem to have a problem:
$ rm *.cfg
$ api2arl_v6 -z1 -igfs.t12z.pgrb2.0p25.f001 -of001.arl
$ rm *.cfg
$ api2arl_v6 -z1 -igfs.t12z.pgrb2.0p25.f006 -of006.arl

Is there a way to accurately calculate the dose from both the pollutant and its decayed products? Say I run hysplit for Cs-137, but when calculating the dose, I'd like to know the total from both Cs and Ba-137m? Thank you.

I got the issue of mismatched concen.grd and concen.ctl when my cdump has two species & two levels including the ground level 0. It seems by commenting out the first if branch around line 190 in con2grad.f can fix this problem:

Can fix it by increasing the formatted print width around line 192 of source/con2gard.f, see changes in red
