Dear HYSPLIT community,
I have relatively little experience with HYSPLIT and therefore some, possibly silly, comprehension questions.
I have made a measurement campaign on a mountain and now I want to know if I have taken samples below or
above the height of the planetary boundary layer (PBL ...

Thank you for the detailed answer with example !
I still have a question, I have calculated the height of a mountain (36.255721 , 117.105687)
in the model using the procedure explained here.
actual height of the mountain = 1540 m
MSLP = 1024
PRSS = 989
-> (MSLP - PRSS)x10 = 350 MASL
->1540 ...

Re: Display 455 Trajectorys in singel plots
Hello Sonny.zinn,
thank you for your fast reply. I think I understand your main idea, but can you explain it a little bit more in detail ?
1) I have to create a Windows batch file
2) I need to use trajplot to create all plots
3) But for using Trajplot I need Phyton ?
Best wishes,
Carlo

Display 455 Trajectorys in singel plots
Hello guys,
i have created 455 Files with "Daily Runs "(Trajectory/Special Runs/Daily) and saved them in the working folder.
Now I want to have for each File a plot of the trajectory cluster. Therefore I tried to use the Display option of Hyslpit (Trajectory/Display/Trajectory).

Ah okay, thanks for the help anyway. Can anyone recommend a programme ? I'm not that familiar with programming.

Re: Calculate meteorological variables (precipitation etc.) from Clusters
Thanks for your help, but I'm not sure if I've made a mistake or if we're talking past each other.
I have calculated trajectories including meteorological variables via special runs/daily trajectories
and placed them in the entpoint folder for the cluster calculations (see photo).

Thank you for your reply. So i have to use the list were all trajectories are assigned to a certain cluster and
use theiere singele files to combine them by myself ? What do you think is the best function to combine the meterologylcal varaibels. Should i for example list all the precipitation data ...

Calculate meteorological variables (precipitation etc.) from Clusters
Hello everyone,
I am new to Hysplit and would like to figure out a way to get meteorological variables like precipitation etc. from clusters. To solve the problem I have so far followed an approach where I first enabled the output of certain meteorological variables via Advanced/Configuration ...
