Hello,
I was able to fix the error by manually setting TRUELAT2 equal to TRUELAT1 in the WRF output. After that, arw2arl worked fine. However, I’m not sure if this is the correct approach or if I should manually adjust any other parameters.
Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this ...

arw2arl has problem with polar projection and true latitudes
Hello everyone!
I'm trying to convert WRF output files to ARL format using arw2arl, but the conversion fails with the following error:
ERROR: incorrectly defined polar projection in WRF!
TRUELAT1 does not equal TRUELAT2: -56.9850006 -90.0000000
TRUELAT1 defines the latitude at which the grid ...

era52arl updated to new ERA5 format
Hi everyone!
As you well know, ERA5 has been updated! And I need to know if the era52arl.f program still works with the ERA5 update. I would appreciate any information. Has anyone used era52arl to process ERA5 with its new format?
Best regards!
Charlie

Interpolated meteorological variables along trajectories
Hello!
I am in doubt as to which variables can be interpolated along the trajectories. Is it only a limited number of variables that can be interpolated? or can it be any? In case it is a limited number, how can I interpolate other variables along the trajectories in such a way that it is similar ...

Is possible to add more decimals to output files?
Hello!
Is possible to add more decimals to output files? I'm working in a little region with hysplit, so when I got trajectory files, these have latitude and longitude with 3 decimals but I want they have more decimals. Is it possible?
Regards!

Re: Hysplit doesn't complete days of simulation with era5 when arrive to 180 °W
HYSPLIT only implements cyclic boundary conditions for global meteorological data sets.
So if the ERA5 data is not global and it has been extracted so that 180 degree is the edge, then
trajectories will be terminated at that edge.
So if I am working with data of the south hemisphere, [-180, 180 ...

Re: back trajectory not running full length of time
Hello!
I have same problem. I run multiple trajectories but some trajectories don't complete full length of time. I am working with era5. Were you able to fix it?
